Introducing the 28-11 Rung Lock Kit for Aluminum Extension Ladder, compatible with Werner Aluminum Extension Ladders. This kit is designed to fit Werner Aluminum 24 ft, 28 ft, and 32 ft Extension Ladders, including the D1300 series and D1200 series ladders rated for 250lb and made after 2002.

The extension ladder rung lock kit is approximately 8 inches long. Before purchasing, please confirm the length of your ladder locks to ensure a proper fit. The package includes 2 lock assemblies (1 right hand & 1 left hand), 2 small machine screws, 2 small lock nuts, 2 large lock nuts, 2 small screw gaskets, 2 large screw gaskets, and 1 installation instructions.

Installing the rung lock kit is a straightforward process: 1. Using wrenches, remove the old lock assembly and fasteners. 2. Position the new lock assembly over the rungs of the front and rear rails. 3. Insert the lock bolt through the large hole in the side rail and thread the nut on the bolt. 4. Align the small hole on the side rail with the hole in the lock bracket. 5. Insert the small bolt provided with the new lock assembly and thread the nut on the bolt. 6. Use the wrenches to tighten the large lock bolt and nut.
