Ladder Stabilizer Standoff Brackets with Foam Elbows (Pairs)

The Ladder Stabilizers known as the Open Rung Standouts are manufactured by Levelok. These brackets can be slid into the rungs of most ladders (rung openings of 1 inch or greater) to provide stability and work around obstacles such as windows. The standout brackets weigh only 1.5 pounds and are made of aluminum with foam elbows, with the manufacturer SKU being ST-ORS-3.

Once inserted into your ladder, they extend a foot beyond the edge of the ladder. It is important to note that the Foam Elbows are fragile and are not covered by any warranties. This material is intended for occasional use, preferably on smooth surfaces, and is susceptible to wear and tear depending on how they are used and the surfaces they are used on. For a more durable and longer-lasting elbow material, Levelok recommends the Silicone style standoffs or the Silicone style replacement elbows.

Regarding ladder compatibility, the Open Rung Standouts fit most aluminum and fiberglass, extension ladders with open D or O rung holes on the outside of the ladder rail. The hole must have a minimum of 1" clearance in all directions. The product meets all ANSI and OSHA requirements for ladders up to Type 1A, 300 pound duty rating.

The installation method is simple, as the brackets attach to the ladder rail without the need for fasteners. To attach, the user should press the 2 bracket ends inward, towards each other, slide the ends into the rung holes, and then release.

Each bracket weighs 12.3 ounces, and the foam elbow material is intended for light-duty, occasional use only. For heavier-duty and longer-lasting elbow material, Levelok offers the ST-ORS-3XL model.
